Hello and welcome to Theatre!

My name is Rachel Brown and this is my 30th year to teach-20th in Maypearl.  I love my job and the students here. They are all "my kids".  I have a wonderful and supportive husband, Tim, who also subs on all campuses, and 2 amazing daughters--Ainsley, a recent graduate in Biochemistry Molecular Biology with a minor in Art from Houston Baptist University, and Brantley, who graduated from Stephen F Austin in December of 2020 with a degree in dance and business.  I am the HS UIL Academic Coordinator, the One Act Play Director for both Junior High and High School and Varsity Cheer Coach.  I am surrounded by amazing staff, teachers and administration who all contribute to the success of our team; I couldn't do it without them!  Maypearl is a great school with great people!  Proud to be a Maypearl Panther!
