Welcome!  I am Kasey Kinder, and I am so excited to be a part of Maypearl ISD!  

After graduating from the University of Mississippi in 2001 with a degree in English and history, I decided to become a teacher.  My life-long love of reading and writing, along with a series of wonderful high school English teachers, made a career in education seem like the next most logical step.  As I enter the 2022-2023 school year and begin my 21st year of teaching,  I find that I am still excited by teaching and derive great satisfaction from working with my students.  

My hobbies and interests include: spending time with my husband and our 2 dogs and 4 cats, reading, traveling to various countries, and spending time with family and friends.
