I am thrilled to join the Panther family where, as a campus, we will build a successful school where students feel safe, respected and able to cultivate their passion as they plan for their futures. I am looking forward to building relationships with the students at Maypearl High School as well as with our community.

In 2000, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Texas Woman's University.  In 2018, I earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University.I have been in education for 17 years, the last 13 years at Decatur ISD. I have taught elementary and secondary levels in math, science, technology, and journalism.  During my tenure at Decatur ISD, I taught Math, Science and CTE/electives.  From 2019 to the end of the 2020 school year, I was supervisor over those departments. At the start of the 2020-2021 school year, I transferred to Decatur High School (DHS) as an Assistant Principal.  During my time at DHS I was the Supervisor for CTE, Math, and SPED departments, where I actively developed new teachers and worked to streamline resources and processes required to help our students grow as individuals.  

Major Roles and Responsibilities: SPED, Math, English, CTE & Fine Arts departments, School Events, School Communications, & Graduation.
