Jarod Wright - President of MISD School Board of Trustees
Jarod grew up in Duncanville, TX, and graduated from Duncanville High School in 1999. He is currently a Team Lead/Delivery Consultant for Turbonomic, an IBM company. In addition to working in technology for 20 years, Jarod has been a youth pastor since 2006. He has served in that role at Connect4LIFE church in Waxahachie for the last 10 years and has recently transitioned to an Associate Pastor role. Jarod has been married to his wife, Erica, since 2004. They have two boys, Judah and Micah, who attend MISD schools. He enjoys traveling, sports, watching his boys play sports, and spending time with his family. Jarod is beginning his 1st term as a school board member for the district. He is passionate about serving the Maypearl students and staff, ensuring their opportunities for success.

Steve Cooper - Vice President of MISD School Board of Trustees
Steve grew up in Hurst, Texas. He graduated from L.D. Bell High School in 1997. He has been serving the city of Midlothian as a Police Officer since 2010. He and his wife, Kristen, have lived in the Maypearl ISD School District for 6 years. They have two children, Sandra and Stephen. Sandra is a student in Maypearl ISD. Steve is a new board member and actively participates as coach in youth sports. Steve participates and sits on several boards devoted to criminal justice and child and adult advocate programs. He enjoys golf, fishing and the outdoors

Jeremy Norman - Secretary of MISD School Board of Trustees
Jeremy was born and raised in South Dallas and often says he made his way to Waxahachie and Maypearl as quickly as he could. He relocated to Waxahachie in 2000 to attend Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) and soon after, in January 2001, joined the United States Marine Corps as an aviation technician. Over the years, Jeremy has built a diverse career, spending 12 years in restaurant management followed by 5 years in insurance, working with a State Farm agent in Mansfield. For the past 8 years, he has successfully led a real estate team, specializing in residential properties and land.
Jeremy and his wife, Ashley, were married in 2010. They have three children: Braxton, Grayson, and Sadie. Braxton and Grayson are currently in school, and Sadie is set to start kindergarten next year.
Active in both his church and the community, Jeremy serves on the security team at The Avenue Church in Waxahachie. He is also involved with the Lions Club, the Maypearl Education Foundation, and serves on the Agent Leadership Council (ALC) at his Keller Williams office.
Jeremy chose to pursue a position on the school board because, with two children already in school and another about to start, he is passionate about enhancing the district's success. He aims to ensure that it remains a supportive and enriching environment where all students can access the best opportunities and be well-prepared for their future endeavors.

Adam Smith
Adam is a life long Ellis County resident. He grew up in Red Oak and graduated from Red Oak High School in 2004. He has worked for the Texas Department of Transportation for the past 7 years where he is currently a safety officer for the Dallas district. He has been married to his wife, Catie since 2012. He and his family have lived in the Maypearl school district since 2021. He and Catie have 2 kids, Lynnlee and Leland who currently attend LSK and are active in youth sports here in Maypearl. Adam is active in the community and serves as a member of the Lion’s Club. He enjoys attending school sport events, his kids’ sport events, Bible study at First Baptist Maypearl, hunting and spending time on the lake with his family and friends.

Chad Trinkle
Chad grew up in Elk City, Oklahoma, and graduated from Elk City High School in 2002. He attended and graduated from Nelson University while playing football at the Nelson University. He currently serves as the Executive Pastor at Life Church in Midlothian, Texas, where he has been on staff for over 12 years. Prior to his time in ministry, Chad worked in public education as a high school teacher and coach in Texas.
Chad has been married to his wife, Valerie, since 2005. They have two children, Maverick and Savvy, who both attend schools in the Maypearl ISD. As a family, they enjoy traveling, sports, supporting their kids in various activities, and spending quality time together.
Chad is beginning his first term as a school board member for the district. He is passionate about education, leadership, and community, and is honored to serve the students and staff of Maypearl ISD. He is committed to advocating for stronger schools and a brighter future.

Monte Dirickson
Monte grew up in Haltom City graduating from Haltom High School in 1988. He attended Midwestern State University for two years then completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice at Tarleton State University in 1992. He is currently a Deputy Sheriff in Ellis County after serving with the Texas Department of Public Safety for 27 years in the Texas Highway Patrol and Criminal Investigations Division.
Monte has been married to his wife Erin since 2007. They have two grown kids who attended Maypearl Schools from K through 12 and now have Eason and Delaney who are current students. The Dirickson family enjoys traveling, camping, fishing, hunting and especially spending time at the beach.
This will be Monte's first term, and he is excited to get involved and bring new ideas to the district to further the quality of work for staff and especially the quality of education of their children.

Jerry Ramirez
Jerry Ramirez, a Certified Public Accountant since 2006, serves as Chief Financial Officer for the North Texas Assemblies of God. In this role, he leads financial strategy and promotes organizational health. He earned his Master of Professional Accountancy from Angelo State University and previously served as Executive Director of Operations at Oaks Church in Red Oak, Texas, where he focused on strategic planning and operational excellence – skills he now applies to strengthen Maypearl ISD’s future.
Jerry and his wife Crystal have been a part of the Maypearl ISD community for 12 years. They are proud parents of three children: Jacob, a 2023 graduate, and Casen and Mya, who attend Maypearl High School. He chaired the district’s most recent bond committee and is currently serving a one-year term on the school board, committed to fostering an environment where students and educators thrive.
