Contacting the Superintendent
Parties wishing to contact the Superintendent of Schools regarding a specific school, teacher, staff member, or student are encouraged to resolve the matter informally by following the steps below:
Step One: Contact the teacher and have a meeting / phone conference
Step Two: Contact the assistant principal (all discipline issues or grades) or counselor (other concerns)
Step Three: Contact the principal (if a school-wide concern, this becomes step one)
Step Four: If the concern involves a department, contact the director of that department (Curriculum and Instruction, Operations, Special Education, Athletics, Band, or Child Nutrition) by calling 972-435-1000
Step Five: Contact the Superintendent of Schools
A grievance or complaint may be filed at the appropriate level at any point per local policies. Grievance procedures can be found here. Please call 972-435-1000 for assistance.
Citizens wishing to express themselves regarding school district policy, boundaries, finances, or other responsibilities of the Board which have not been placed on a regular meeting agenda are encouraged to use the following process:
- Contact the appropriate school department (call 972-435-1000 for assistance)
- Email/write your concerns to the Office of the Superintendent
- Write a letter to the Maypearl ISD Board of Trustees. Copies of letters are sent to members of the Board of Trustees and the Superintendent of Schools. Board members also receive copies of all responses to parties. Letters should be mailed to:
