     IMPORTANT NOTICE:  All students transferring to or riding a MISD school bus that they do not normally ride, must have a pass issued by the Campus Office.   The student must give the pass issued by the office to the bus driver.   The information required for a pass to be issued is as follows:


    • Student's Name
    • Student's Date of Birth
    • The date the student will be riding
    • The number of the bus the student will be riding
    • Name of student's guardian
    • Guardian's phone number - for verification purposes. 
       

     

     
    We are excited about the opportunity to provide transportation for your child to and from school and other events.  As we transport your child, everyone in the MISD Transportation Team realizes that we are entrusted with the most precious cargo possible, your children.  Our interaction with each student contributes to the tone for his or her success in the classroom.  A successful Transportation Department is an integral part of the educational process and we will take every step to ensure we deliver students to school safely and efficiently as possible.
     

    Each student riding the bus has been provided with a “Rider Handbook” and a “Rider Contract”.  These are also available online.  Please read the handbook with your child and complete the Contract and return to the school.  Each student riding the bus will be required to have this contract filled out on a yearly basis.  Please contact the District of any address changes, as this could change the route.
