  • Highlights of Counseling Program:

    Social-Emotional Learning & Character Education - lessons in each class every month. We are using a curriculum called PurposeFULL People by Character Strong.

    Small Group Counseling - counseling groups based on specific needs (ex: "Changing Families", "Grief Support", "Peace of Mind", etc).

    Individual Counseling - short-term counseling for school-related problems or for problems that are affecting school performance.

    * ON HOLD DUE TO COVID *  - WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students)–  fathers and father-figures who engage with students in the classroom, serve as positive male role models, and enhance school security by being an extra set of eyes and ears.

    Bullying Prevention & Intervention - annual staff training, classroom guidance for students, & individual counseling when necessary.

    Red Ribbon Week - drug awareness & prevention.

    Fire Preventionfire prevention & safety education.

    School Counselor’s Mailbox– available for students to privately communicate problems/concerns, or request to see the counselor.
