Welcome Back Maypearl High School Panthers! I'm so excited for another year as we "Turn up the Heat" on our education. Our theme this year is 212 degrees...At 211 degrees, water is very hot. At 212 degrees, water boils. One degree made all the difference. What are you going to do this year in your academics, sports, clubs, and organizations to make a difference and ensure success?

A little about me...I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. I have been in education since 1996. I have served in the following roles: High School Teacher (Concepts of Math, Concepts of Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Math Models, Teen Leadership, Student Council Leadership), Student Council Advisor, Cheerleading Coach, Mentor Teacher, Math Department Chair and Instructional Specialist. I have a passion for encouraging students to reach their potential and working with teachers to find new ways to challenge their students to be collaborators and critical thinkers. I believe that when educators and students have a growth mindset, anything is possible! My husband, Matt, and I have four daughters: Tori, Libby, Maranda, and Faith. We live in Midlothian. I enjoy spending time with my family at home, playing games, and completing DIY projects.
