Hello all! I am Coach Allex Hensel.

First off, I am so excited to begin my eighth year at Maypearl and continue giving back to the community that gave me so much support.  My husband and I graduated from Maypearl High School in 2011. I then attended the University of Texas at Dallas where I received a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies and played basketball for two years. I also served as a student assistant coach during my last year. Right out of college, I taught middle school science at Rogene Worley Middle School in Mansfield for two years. I have taught Engineering levels 1-4, Astronomy, Chemistry, and IPC at Maypearl and loved every minute of it.

In the upcoming year, I will continue teaching Physics as well as coaching. My coaching responsibilities will include Girls' Athletic Coordinator, head basketball, and assistant track. My goal is to help each student to achieve high standards of excellence and reach their goals in the classroom as well as in athletics.

 I am looking forward to the 2023-2024 school year and can't wait to watch my students succeed.
