Hi, I'm Cari Bowling. I am excited to be teaching Algebra 2, Algebra 2 Honors, Pre Calculus, and  Pre Calculus Honors. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I am also the Student Council sponsor. This is my third year at Maypearl although my family and I have been part of the community since 2015. 

I grew up in Van Alstyne, TX  graduating in 1996. I then attended the University of North Texas graduating in 1999 with my degree in Interdisciplinary Studies specializing in Mathematics. I began teaching in 1999 stopping in 2012 right before the birth of our oldest daughter, Scarlett. During those 13 years, I also coached various girls sports including a stint as a head softball coach. I was happy to return to teaching in 2020 after an 8 year hiatus. Fourteen months after Scarlett was born, Harper joined our family. We thought we were done having children, but our son Lincoln surprised us in 2018.

I am excited for this school year and look forward to it being great!
