Ms. Karlee Jones

Hello Maypearl Panthers!

My name is Karlee Jones and I was born and raised in League City, TX before moving to Midlothian where I finished high school. I then proceeded to Tarleton State University (Go Texans!) where I spent my time being active in Sigma Alpha- a professional, agricultural sorrority. I was also blessed to compete on Tarleton's Equestrian Team for 3 years, where I went to the IHSA regionals and semi-finals on the western show team. My passion for horses and showing swine, along with my passions of teaching, drove me to pursue a career in education. I recently graduated from Tarleton with a degree in Agricultural Services and Development, with a teaching certification. I plan on obtaining my masters, but for now, I will be focused on giving my full attention to my students.

My duties as a Maypearl agriculture teacher include overseeing various Leadership and Career Development, as well as Public Speaking Teams. I will assist Mr. Burgess in advising over the many species of livestock our FFA students will show this school year. I will be teaching the principles of AFNR, Agribusiness Management & Marketing, Livestock Produciton and Advanced Animal Science/ Veterinary Medicine Applications courses.

If there is anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to reach out!
