Hello! I am Chelsea Hoard, and this is my third year as the Middle School Counselor. Most of you may know me as Ms. Hyles. The 2022-2023 school year will be my 9th year in education. I received my Masters in School Counseling at Lamar University, and my Bachelor's from Tarleton State University. I previously taught math at Maypearl Middle School for four years. Then I was given the amazing opportunity to become the Middle School Counselor. I already know many of the wonderful students at Maypearl Middle School and cannot wait to get to know them all. I strive to be an easy way of communicating. I am so blessed to be able to continue to work with the students, parents, staff, and administrators in Maypearl as I continue my role as the Middle School Counselor.

I look forward to helping each student with their social, emotional, and academic needs. I am so excited for this year to start!
