    2020-2021 Season  

    The United States Marine Corps (USMC) and the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) has announced that Maypearl High School has earned the AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2020-2021 season. A total of 1,281 collegiate and high school teams received this award.

    The 2020-2021 Maypearl High School volleyball team members are Haleigh Arterberry, Josey Austin, Lex Berryman, Zoe Huskins, Katy McMullin, Lauren Pieper, Meagan Price, Maddie Robinson, Victoria Southerland, Nanea Storm, Carsen Young.
     
    The award, which was initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors collegiate and high school volleyball teams that displayed excellence in the classroom during the entire 2020-2021 school year by maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.

     
    Additionally, the top 20% of team GPAs are designated as Team Academic Honor Roll schools, representing the highest scholarly acheivement in volleyball.  This team earned the award of top 20% out of 413 high schools who received the Team Academic Award from across the nation.
     
    This is the 6th year in a row they have received the Team Academic award and the first time they have received the Team Academic Honor Roll award!
     
     
       
     
     

    The Maypearl Athletic Booster Club is still looking for volunteers. 
    Our Booster Club supports all Panther Athletic Teams both Junior High and High School.
