I am Coach Rich. I am teaching Geometry at Maypearl High School this year. I will be coaching football, boys basketball, and track. This will be my 7th year of teaching and coaching. I have taught in the DFW, Houston, and Southeast Texas areas. I grew up in Cleburne and Burleson and graduated from The Burleson High School in 2012. In 2016, I graduated from McMurry University in Abilene, Texas, where I also met my wife. We have two four-legged children at home and will be adding to our small family come January of 2023. Feel free to donate baby gifts if your heart so desires. 

Supplies: Students will be expected to bring a pencil (NOT PENS) & their chromebooks (fully charged) every day for class.

Classroom expectations: I will supply students with their note pages, but they will be expected to fill them out until we get our online platform going that we can take notes on. I will post a blank note page and the key to it as well as the homework page on Google Classroom in case a student is absent. If a student is absent, they are responsible for getting their classwork from me. I will not hunt them down to get their work to them. Their assignments will be turned in on Google Classroom for quicker grading & grade updates. I will be following our grading policy that is outlined in the student handbook.
