Mr. Wade Gartman
Hi! My name is Wade Gartman and I will be teaching the Ag. Mechanics classes at the Pearl this year along with being the Agriscience Coordinator. I have 28 years of educational experience teaching Ag in 2A - 6A high schools. I also have 3 years experience in industry in the field of welding and fabrication. I have been married to my wife for 22 years. We have one daughter, Madison, and she was highly involved in FFA . She is currently the student body President at Stephen F. Austin State University. She plans on attending Texas A&M Law school in the fall of '24. All of her success can be directly traced back to her time in FFA and Agriscience classes. I enjoy helping students learn how to weld and build projects for shows as well as showing showpigs. I am very straight forward and expect students to give me 110% when learning. I feel that as young adults, students need to be forced out of their comfort zone to get the full experience of Agriscience classes and FFA. I also feel that students need to be involved in organizations and activites other than just the books and school work. EXPECT YOUR STUDENT TO BE INVOLVED IN SOMETHING!!! This could be FFA, FCCLA, Athletics etc..etc.. . This will allow them to grow into a great young man or young lady that will be prepared for life in the real world.
