Hello! My name is Mrs. Girard and I am your child's kindergarten teacher! I have been married to my best friend, Brandon, for nearly 11 years and we have two beautiful children together. Reid is in the fourth grade at LSK and Parker is in kindergarten here at MPS. My family is my world and we love spending time outdoors together.

I graduated from Texas A&M-Commerce with a degree in education and I have had two years of experience in Kindergarten. However, this is my first year with my own class! I have wanted to be a teacher my entire life and I am so excited to have this opportunity. I truly feel so honored to spend the year with your babies! 

I communicate with families through weekly reminders on the Remind app. Please contact me at rachel.girard@maypearlisd.org if you would like to be added to the Remind app or if you have any concerns! Also, please be sure to check your child's folder daily. This is another great form of communication and you will get to see what your child is up to during the day!
