MISD Parents and Guardians~
As you may know, April 8th is expected to be a busy day in our area because we are in the path of the Solar Eclipse. For this reason, on 2/22/24, the Maypearl ISD Board of Trustees approved an update to the 2023-2024 school year calendar. The previously scheduled professional development day on Monday, April 15 has been changed to Monday, April 8.
- Students will not attend school on Monday, April 8.
- Students and staff will have a regular school day on Monday, April 15.
We wanted to give you plenty of notice so you could plan accordingly.

Maypearl Band students got a special performance Tuesday when the SAGU trombone quartet performed for us at MMS. They are preparing for a performance at the TMEA state convention in early February and are doing a mini-tour to get in more practice before the big show in San Antonio.
Thank you to MISD for allowing them to showcase their awesome music and inspire our band students!
